* Using charcoal

On the preview post, i show you some portraits I made using charcoal.
Now I want to show on video a couple of them, to explain briefly how do I use tree simple tools; charcoal pencil, charcoal chalk and eraser.
PS: I couldn’t resist on putting on one of the movie the song quiero que me quieras, from Rudo y Cursi movie that I’ve just saw, very funny!

I just watched Stanley Donen’s “Charade” the other day
This movie, in my opinion, is just perfect! it has the right mixture of comedy, romance, mystery and thriller, it’s so sharp.
I love the style of the characters, their hairstyles, the whole atmosphere.
And last but not least, some of my favorite actors playing together in one movie!

After trying several Klaus Kinski portraits, I finally chose one, below are the sketches and the definitive illustration.
Also below you´ll find the illustration I did for Rolling Stone magazine Italy, in which I portrayed Sting in an obvious grotesque way.

Still working on the Klaus Kinski illustration, it’s beeing more difficult than I thought to get him on paper, maybe I’ve to work on his heavy metal side.

I’m working right now on some illustrations for two magazines, one is Sting, and it’s quite ironic, a liitle fool of him, the other is Klaus Kinski.

That’s what happened to my silkscreen, they where stored in a humid place and the mildew took over.
Interesting results and a bit sad to see it.
