A friend told me I must give my camper a name, but I still didn’t came up with a proper one.
I spend some time this summer renewing the interior, creating a proper storage space for the surf board, and rearranging things in a more functional way. I just love putting my hands on those kind of constructions, involving mathematics, geometry and aesthetic, is pretty much like setting up a grid for a graphic layout, but a three dimensional one.
I’ll go next week to Italy with my camper, and I better come up with a name for the inauguration of the new interiors. Any idea for a name of the camper is welcome.

I haven’t been posting new stuff lately.
That because I’ve been totally into designing the Why Style web page, and switching from a creative form of work as I’m used to, such as illustration, to something more properly technical like designing a web site, occupies totally my mind space, and I’m not able to process different things than css, div, properties, selectors and so on, if you know what I’m talking about.

I only started studying web design processes a little wile ago and I’ve been storing totally new information, which I forget about most of them, and I have to constantly go back to my block note.
I decided to know more about what’s behind a web page, to be able to control the possibilities that the media offers, and even if I limit my functions to the visual layout, having basic knowledge of how a static design is going to be made functional gives to my design process a better understanding of what I’m designing for, and consequentially how it should be designed.

The thing with web design is that the process is distinguishably divided in two phases; the designer makes the visual part and lands it to the web developer that makes it work on the web. That passage is often critical, since the developer most often doesn’t understand and doesn’t see the details of the layout, and the page can end up with something similar but not totally respectful of the original design.

So, to avoid the “danger” of seeing your layout translated in something was not suppose to be it helps knowing the basics of how the visual web page it is going to be built, in a way that the designer can follow the building process from a closer point of view.
There are as well very good developers, aware of how to respect a layout, but most often if they’re not your friends they could be quite expensive, at least for my pockets.

A solution to a good translation of a design to a web page would be if the designer is also the developer, but I don’t quite believe in that possibility, since they’re two fields that need constant practice and study, having to handle both sphere would turn into not knowing them well enough.

So to go back to the Why Style web page I’ve been busy with until now, here it is: www.whystyle.com, and even if the passage of my layout to the developer wasn’t very smooth, and the site is not 100% as I aspect it to be; mainly for my inexperience in the matter, the most important thing is that now Why Style collective has a voice out there. Willing to improve the site always better, I hope you will enjoy it.

By the way, if you don’t know Why Style is an art collective that I’m a confounded of.

The other day I went to a couple of offices to do some little things. I went to the bank, and the telephone company, in both places they told me they couldn’t do anything and they gave me a telephone number to call. This system is a tricky way for them to make money on phone calls. In fact after two minutes listening to recorded voices I spent about two euros to call, and what they told me was that I had to go to their office again.
That sounds really like a trap to squeeze money, companies just bounce costumers that need help to operators at call centers.
Fortunately life is not only bureaucracy and nonsense phone calls, there’s also Roma that won Lazio in the derby!

It’s so rare if not impossible to find such as natural vegetables now days; just like heart gives them to us, that when you have the chance to have some of this product just dont miss the chance of eat them.

Here’s I’m going to explain the way i did a pumpkin soup:
Take a Pumpkin, some potatoes and some carrots, peal them, cut them ruffly and put the pieces in a baking tin, add extra virgin olive oil (my parents make their own), rosemary, garlic on its skin, salt, and a couple of chilies.

Cover the baking tin with aluminum foil and put it in the oven for forty minutes at 220 degrees.
In the mean time cut in small pieces a couple of onion and fry them slowly in a big pan with extra virgin olive oil.

At this point, take the pumpkin and the other vegetables from the oven, take a part the rosemary and the garlic and add them to the frying onion in the pan.
Squeeze a couple or more garlic out of the skin in the compound and stir it with a wooden spoon to help the vegetables melting. Add to the soup enough water with vegetarian bouillon in it , let it go for a little wile and the soup it’s ready.

Serve it with garlic bread and a tread of extra virgin olive oil.

Now that in Carrapateira I don’t have so much technology to be busy with, I’m feeding my hunger of it with my cheap nokia 1208. I’m discovering any secret of this phone, like the right key menu, I didn’t know about this option; you can put a list of direct link to your favourite tools on the right button, UAUAUIUA! The calendar it’s very useful, and with the timer I keep the cooking under control and I don’t forget the pepperoni in the oven! But the buttons I’m burning the most are the ones to play Nature Park, I’m trying to break the edge of thousand points, at the moment my best score is 963. Does somebody can do better? Also Rapid Ball is an enjoyable game, my best score is 3477, on the contrary I cant play Snake Xenzia, it’s a very sad game, but they should never take it away from the phone’s game, you never know.
I want to open a battle to all the ones that want compete for the best score on Nature Park and Rapid Ball, I told you mine, does somebody can break it? Picture as a prove is required, don’t fake on photoshop, refer yourself to the famous moral of game’s phone players.
